Annual Alfie Shrubb 8K Classic  ›  Alfie 8k

June 5th 2005 we had our 3rd annual Alfie Shrubb 8k Museum FUN Run/Walk. It was a HOT day but enjoyed by all. There were over 350 runners and walkers. John Tranter won on this day and Lora Rigutto won for the women.

The route is an 8km, an out and back. We have the entire road with no traffic.

Next year our race will be June 4th 2006. We have some grat plans for next year. It is believed that we will be part of the Timex Series of races.
