In the movie Chariots Of Fire you will see the team jumping over hurdles with wine glasses at each end, this was to make the hurdles FUN and challenging. It was Alfred Shrubb who started that at Oxford University. Alfred Shrubb taight 2 athletes who were featured in the classic movie Chariots Of Fire.

The book by Rob Hadgraft, The Little Wonder The Untold Story Of Alfred Shrubb was given to Perdita Felicen as a gift. Perdita is a great hurdler for Canada, I am sure Perdita enjoyed this great book.
